The video showing a leopard casually strolling at night on a road in Nainital, the British-era hill city of Uttarakhand, has been shared by Indian Forest Service officer Saket Bodal.
The leopard is seen passing in front of the campus of Thakur Dev Singh Bisht College which has raised fears of a potential human-animal conflict.
Indian Forest Service officer and wildlife enthusiast Susanta Nanda wrote: “Majestic. Seems to be having a beautiful time. But my thoughts are with the morning walkers of this serene campus.”
Mr Bodal captioned the clip: “Post-dinner walk, in the city of #Nainital.”
