Watch: Kerala plantation worker has narrow escape as wild elephant charges at him

Industrialist Harsh Goenka shared a video showing a worker at a rubber plantation in Kerala having a narrow escape as a wild elephant charges at him.

The plantation worker is tapping latex from a tree with a herd of wild elephants in the vicinity. He tries to confidently shoo away one of the elephants who he thinks is damaging the plantation by shouting some words in Malayalam. But the angry beast turns the tables and charges at him instead. The rubber tapper then runs for his dear life and fortunately manages to get away.

Harsh Goenka has captioned the video: A day in the life of a rubber tapper
