R’Bonney Gabriel of the United States won the title of Miss Universe 2022 at a glamorous event in New Orleans held on January 15. The 28-year-old was crowned by Miss Universe 2021 India’s Harnaaz Sandhu at the grand finale of the 71st edition of Miss Universe.
R’Bonney performed well in all the rounds of the contest and the video shows her response in the final Question-and-Answer round that clinched the crown for her. For the final question round of Miss Universe 2022, all three finalists were asked, “If you win Miss Universe, how will you work to demonstrate this is an empowering and progressive organization?”
Miss USA’s answer was that she would use ”fashion as a force for good.” She explained how her experience in helping survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence could be used on a bigger platform to help others if she won the Miss Universe title
