In a terrifying incident, a deadly cobra was found curled up inside a school girl’s backpack at Shajapur in Madhya Pradesh.
A video shows a teacher unzipping the school bag to empty out of all the books in order to get the snake out.
The snake which was curled up at the bottom of the backpack is eventually thrown out when a man turns the bag upside down and the poisonous snake slithers out and then crawls out into the open.
Mr Vashistha said that after reaching school in the morning, the Class X student told the teachers that she felt something moving in her bag. Upon inspection, the teachers then found the snake curled up inside the backpack.
According to experts, with heavy rains flooding the natural habitat of snakes more of them are venturing into people’s homes and finding their way into bags and shoes. It is therefore essential to keep bags zipped up even at home so that reptiles or other insects enter them.
