Video: Brave giraffe fights with pack of lions

A video shared by “Wildlife Stories” on Wednesday shows a brave giraffe putting up a strong fight against a pack of lions that keep attacking it from  the back.</p>

The giraffe is showing all his strength in fighting with the lions, kicking the powerful beasts off with its hindlegs.</p>
<p>
Lions normally prey on deer and other mammals, but a giraffe is a rare encounter. A giraffe is so tall that a lion can never reach its throat for a bite, which is how it usually tackles big animals.</p>
<p>
A giraffe is also capable of killing or badly injuring a predator with its powerful legs. So unless the lions spot a baby giraffe or are desperately short of food they prefer not to attack the huge animal.</p>
