Some world leaders make bizarre comments on Covid

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro bizarre statement that a  corona vaccine could turn people into crocodiles or bearded ladies has gone viral.

"In the Pfizer contract, it's very clear: 'we're not responsible for any side effects.' If you turn into a crocodile, it's your problem. If you become superhuman, if a woman starts to grow a beard or if a man starts to speak with an effeminate voice, they will not have anything to do with it," Brazilian President was quoted by AFP.

Brazil reported the second-highest death due to deadly coronavirus in the country. Bolsonaro said he won’t be taking the vaccine, how, in July got infect with the Covid-19.

Not just Bolsonaro but in past, one year leaders across the globe including US President Donald Trump, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has made some bizarre comment about the coronavirus.

Donald Trump in April suggested injecting disinfectants or bringing UV light inside Covid-19 patient to kill the virus. American health experts urged people not to listen to such dangerous advice.

Earlier, Bolsonaro and Trump, both refused to wear a face mask on many occasions.

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko also came up with a miraculous therapy to heal coronavirus, he was quoted saying drinking vodka and driving the tractor at the farm will heal everything.

Closer home, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan too denied that coronavirus was a deadly disease. “it’s just like another flu,”  he had said.

Another comment by Pakistani Prime Minister went viral when he said that the hot and dry weather would mitigate the virus threat in Pakistan.

Not just Pakistani Prime Minister, but, Pakistan's Sindh governor, Imran Ismail called the lockdown ‘a fashion symbol.’

The governor of Punjab also suggested drinking hot water will move the Covid-19 virus from your lungs to your stomach, where it would die.
