One such event – Yuva Pratibha – Painting Talent Hunt — will be launched on May 11 by MyGov in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Culture under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The objective of this contest is to promote India’s rich heritage and culture at the grassroots level on a national scale by identifying and recognising the new art talent in various painting styles.

Open to all the citizens of the country, the themes for this talent hunt are Heritage and Cultural; Valour and Patriotism; Public Heroes and Leaders; and Nature and Environment.

The paintings must be submitted on the MyGov portal and entries submitted through any other mode will not be considered for evaluation. The participants need to submit their entry in JPG/JPEG/PNG/PDF format. The size of the painting should be not less than two feet by one-and-a-half feet that is 24 inches x 18 inches.
