The new Hyundai Exter is offered in the price range of Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 9.31 lakh (ex-showroom) across variants.
The Hyundai Exter is available in EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect variants.
Powering the Hyundai Exter is a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 83 BHP of peak power and 114 Nm of torque when running on petrol. With CNG, the power drops to 69 BHP and torque to 95.2 Nm.
The petrol version of the SUV comes with the choice of either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT, while the CNG variant gets the manual transmission as standard.
The Exter will get six airbags, a first for the segment. Other safety features include ESC, ABS with EBD, stability control, reverse parking sensors and camera, hill start assist, TPMS, and ISOFIX child seat anchors amongst others.
The SUV comes with an H-shaped LED treatment for the DRLs and the tail lamps.
The Exter also comes with flared wheel arches, housing 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, front and rear faux skid plates, roof rails and thick body cladding all around.
