Honda Elevate SUV launched in India, bookings open in July

The new Honda Elevate is based on the same platform as the 5th generation Honda City.

The Honda Elevate uses the same 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine as the Honda City, which produces 119 bhp power and 145 Nm of torque.

The Elevate offers  two gearbox options: A 6-speed manual or a CVT.

On the safety front, the Honda Elevate gets advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) which the carmaker calls ‘Honda Sense’.

These include lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation system, collision mitigation braking system, lead car departure notification, and auto high-beam assist.

The Elevate gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, premium speakers, wireless charging, a sunroof and a 7-inch TFT instrument display.

The Elevate features an upright grille, sleek LED headlights, and squared wheel arches.

The Honda Elevate is expected to carry a price tag between Rs 10 and Rs 17 lakh ex-showroom as it will be competing with Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, VW Taigun and MG Astor.
