The X440 is priced at Rs 2.29 lakh for the Denim version while the Vivid and S variants cost Rs 2.49 lakh and Rs 2.69 lakh respectively (ex-showroom).
The all-new air-oil cooled 440cc single-cylinder engine is developed jointly by US giant Harley-Davidson and India’s Hero MotoCorp.
The engine delivers peak power of 27 bhp and 38 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Seat height is 805mm and the HD X440 the bike weighs 190.5kg, with a full 13.5-litre fuel tank.
The Denim variant is available in Mustard Yellow, essentially a yellow tank on a black bike. The Vivid variant comes in Metallic Thick Red or Metallic Dark Silver and the top-spec S variant is available only in a Matte Black colour.
The bookings of the X440 roadster begin from July 4 at a nominal amount of Rs 5,000.
