Jaishankar during the Special ASEAN-India Foreign Ministers' Meeting (SAIFMM) said “ASEAN has always stood tall as a beacon of regionalism, multilateralism & globalisation”. The meeting provides a major boost to India-ASEAN Ties. The meeting assumes more importance as it comes at a time, when the region is tackling China’s belligerence & its increasing foothold in the region.
