WATCH: Brave bus driver steers tourists to safety as wild elephant charges in fit of rage at Jim Corbett Park

The video shows an enraged wild elephant charging at a bus while the tourists on a safari at the Dhikala forest zone of the Jim Corbett National Park are heard screaming in fright.

However, the bus driver keeps his presence of mind and reverses the vehicle. This has has a calming effect on the wild beast who then gives up his pursuit of the bus veers to the side to enter the forest again.

The video was posted by Indian Forest Service officer Surendra Mehra with the advice: “Always be cautious and keep a safe distance from #WildAnimals, especially in #elephant area…Even if you are in a closed vehicle..”
