CCTV footage shared by the Railway Authorities shows the woman and a man holding a baby running to board the train which has already started moving out of the station.
When the woman jumped to board the moving train, she slipped and her legs got stuck in the gap between the train and the platform. She was being dragged along dangerously by the train when RPF constable Narpal Singh leaped to her rescue and pulled her back to safety. .
The Railway authorities have been repeatedly announcing that it is dangerous for passengers to board moving trains. Unfortunately, such incidents continue to happen as passengers who arrive late in sheer desperation try to hop on board trains that are leaving the platform.
