Wanting to make Kotla Alex Binoy repentant of his actions – performing dangerous bike stunts in Chennai – the Madras High Court asked him to make people aware of road safety and also assist ward boys in General Hospital in the city.
The 22-year-old social media influencer was apprehended by Greater Chennai Police when his 30-second video showing him performing stunts in Anna Salai outside the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s party headquarters, were uploaded and went viral in September.

He was subsequently granted bail with HC imposing several conditions.
Binoy was asked to upload an awareness video against reckless driving on his Instagram account while submitting an affidavit that he will not indulge in such activities in future.
Further he was instructed to distribute pamphlets with messages about drunken and rash driving and stressing on the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts. He was asked to do this at Teynampet Mount Road Junction signal from 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. for three weeks.
To make him socially responsible, the Court also asked him to report to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital’s duty doctor and help ward boys in the trauma ward from Tuesday to Saturday for a period of three weeks.
He was also asked to write his experiences in one page and submit it to the Court through the hospital dean.
